Hey Alexis,

There are no plans to update NIPY until the next stable release of
SciPy (0.7.0) comes out.  NIPY won't work with the SciPy development
trunk and there are no plans to keep them in sync.  Please use NumPy
1.0.3.1 and SciPy 0.5.2.1, if you need to run NIPY code.

If you want to try a newer version of SciPy, you could try SciPy
0.6.0.  But as far as I know no one has tested that version yet.
