However on rereading that and thinking about the immediate issue of
doing away with our test script I see that they're separate issues.

I'm now making the required changes to have our docstrings run when
.test() is called. As mentioned before the problem of the decorator
flags is solved (although in want of cleaning up). In light of all
this I think I can probably be rid of the test script by tonight in
time for the release.

Fernando, the issue of getting the ipython doctests working with NIPY
is something we'll look at in the (hopefully near) future, but it's
not an immediate issue like I first thought. Sorry for the confusion.
