[Nipy-devel] How to install NiPy on FC5

Hey Pierre,

It looks like the problem is happening while you are building scipy:
error: Command "/usr/bin/g77 -g -Wall -fno-second-underscore -fPIC -O2
-funroll-loops -march=i686 -mmmx -msse2 -msse -fomit-frame-pointer
-malign-double -c -c Lib/fftpack/dfftpack/zfftb1.f -o
build/temp.linux-i686-2.4/Lib/fftpack/dfftpack/zfftb1.o" failed with
exit status 1

I noticed that you had fft libraries all ready installed.  I didn't on
my system, so I installed them:   sudo yum install fftw-devel djbfft

[jarrod at bic127 scipy-trunk]$ rpm -qa "*fft*"
fftw-3.1.1-1.fc5
fftw-devel-3.1.1-1.fc5
djbfft-0.76-5.lvn5

And then I rebuilt scipy:

As you can see, I am still not getting your error message.  Can you
check which versions of fft you are using (i.e., rpm -qa "*fft*")?
